Guess Where

Guess where I was tonight...

Didn't get a chance to go over to Canada, but that's okay - our falls are bigger anyway. Because we're American, and that's just the way we are. (Of course Canada's got rocks and trees, and trees and rocks, and rocks and trees, and trees and rocks, and rocks and trees, and trees and rocks, and rocks and trees and trees and rocks and...water.)

Never been to the falls before, glad to get a chance to see them - even better to see them with the one you love.

Why Watch The News

I couldn't let this one go - I read The Ezekiel Option last year, and was fascinated by how he framed Ezekiel's prophecy. Two countries that are seemingly missing from the alliance that attacks Israel: Egypt and Iraq. Egypt has been at peace with Israel for some time, and just recently Iraq is in no position to join that alliance; however, just a few years ago their absence would have been unbelievable.

Here's what Rosenberg says about the prophecy his last book was based on:

* The "War of Gog and Magog." The Bible tells us in Ezekiel 36 and 37 in great detail how Israel will be reborn as a country, how Jews will return to the Holy Land, and how Israel will rebuild the "ancient ruins" and develop an "exceedingly great army." Then, the Bible tells us that Russia, Iran, Turkey, Lebanon, Syria, and other Mideast countries will form an alliance and surround Israel and seek to wipe her off the face of the map, but they will suddenly suffer God's supernatural judgment. We learn in Ezekiel 38-39 that this event will happen in "the last days." Does it happen before or after the Rapture? We don't know. The Scriptures don't tell us for certain. But given the tragectory of recent events, this War -- upon which The Ezekiel Option was based -- could happen soon. Important point: the Doctrine of Imminence tells us that no more prophetic events have to happen before the Rapture. But that does not mean that no more prophetic events will happen before the Rapture. In other words, this War could happen before the Rapture, but it does not have to.

Make A Wish

Heading up to New York again, and this time I don't have to 'wish you were here' - because she will be.

In other news, the most wonderful woman in the world bought me Rosenberg's latest book - The Copper Scroll - plan on reading it whilst vacation at said lake.

I did read the first chapter online a week or so ago, it's looking pretty good, should be an exciting fast read.

Oh, and if you're wondering how real his books are - read this.
